I have a HDHomeRun Connect and recently added a HDHomeRun Extend. Both tuners are setup and visible in Plex. The issue I am having is that it appears the “Connect” is being treated as the primary tuner. I purchased an “Extend” to take advantage of the built in transcoder, but I am not getting that benefit for most of my recordings.
Is there a way to specify that the “Extend” is the primary tuner and the “Connect” as secondary?
I have tried removing the “Connect” and re-adding it, but it still gets treated as primary.
I read through that thread twice and didn’t see a solution, but after reading that thread, I may uninstall and reinstall my server, when I have time and then setup the “Extend” first, to see if that solves the issue.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Similar situation here. I have a Prime (cable) and Quatro (OTA), they are working together fine. However I would like the Quatro to be hit first yet it always defaults to the Prime first, which had been the only unit until I recently added the Quatro. I’ve tried deleting the DVR and starting with the Quatro first and then adding the Prime still always goes to the Prime first.

Could that be a channel issue? Where I am at, the channels (OTA vs cable) are different.
IE: OTA 9.9 vs Cable 1009. Would it work to limit the recording to a single channel?
Do see my second post in that thread I started. It has a link to a thread here that speaks on how to edit the ID of the tuners in the database. It does not do a full step by step but rather which DB and table to look at. A little SQL knowledge is helpful for this if you try it.
