Multiple HomeRun Primes, only 1 of them seems to work

Plex Pass, running latest PMS for Windows. I installed a 2nd HomeRun Prime and added it successfully to Plex. If I disable a channel from the 1st HDHR and enable it on the newly added HDHR I get the “Unable to tune channel (No parts)” error. If i add the channel back to HDHR #1 it works.

As a 2nd test I started to watch live tv on 4 devices , which worked but oddly looking at the tuner summary on both HDHR’s directly shows 3 tuners on one used and none on the other.

Whats the best way to test that all this is working. I’m not sure it is. I also noticed a ton more transcoder processes running , killing my cpu.

Something isnt right.

Just for kicks have you tried removing the Prime that works to make sure the other Prime is working?

Solved the issue. Turns out you need to wait until the guide refreshes. It makes sense with two HDHR’s. I was immediately trying to record and use up all tuners right after adding it. I was thinking that since it had guide data already it would apply to the new tuner, not the case. The new hdhr didn’t have any guide details even though the other did. Immediately after the guide refreshed for the new hdhr both acted as expected.
