I really like the new DVR feature, it’s quite cool and so far has worked pretty well for me. I think the program guide and whole UI of DVR needs a major overhaul, it’s super clunky and frustrating to work with, but otherwise it’s working well.
One suggestion is to remember that some TV devices, like the HDHomeRun, can have more than one tuner. I have my system set up to record 1 minute before and 1 minute after as a safety net and, as a result, it won’t let me record anything back-to-back because it says I have a conflict. My HDHR has THREE tuners that can be used, there should pretty much never be a conflict unless someone is watching something on their iPad and Plex wants to change the channel of that particular tuner.
