Multiple instances of PMS running

Running PMS on a standalone Win10 mini-PC. Tonight I updated to the latest versions and then noticed that the fan was running very hard when watching a show.

Checked in Taskmgr and there were multiple instances of PMS running, summing up to 100% of CPU (see screenshot).

I did a reboot, thinking this might help, but over time more instances built up again, until CPU was 100%.
