I have several libraries in my plex, each with a different language, hence I have:
Korean Movies
English Movies
Chinese Movies
Japanese Movies
Spanish Movies
Russian Movies
Thai Movies
Korean TV Shows
English Tv Shows
etc…
It’s this the good way to organize libraries ? My sidebar it’s currently very long and has many items, also It’s not easy to navigate. It’s there a better way for my situation ? I’m thinking into making a “Other Movies” and throwing in it all the movie libraries that have 10 or less movies (Thai, Russian, Swedish)
Also as a new feature it would be nice the sidebar can compound several libraries into a single virtual one. Example:
Movies
- English
- Korean
-Japanese
- Spanish
This way, I could click the parent (movies) and see all the movies or only click a single language. Also I could collapse it, so that I only see Movies/Tv Shows/Photos/Music on the sidebar
Does this mean the audio language or just the country of origin?
Because if you had all the movies in one common library, there is a filter for ‘Audio Language’, which you could use if you are looking for movies in a particular language.
However, there is no solution (apart from having separate libraries) if you just like to “browse” movies of a particular language (instead of “filtering” them).
They have different audio language. I want a solution that allows me to browse only a particular language, also I wish the titles in the original language as well (I have an option on the library setup to do this and it works well). So, it would seem that my plex structure it’s the best currently. I will just merge some languages into a “Other Movies” folder to reduce the sidebar a little and check how the audio filter works.
