As an example I have two listings:
Listing 1 was added weeks before and that is what shows in Plex. Now listing 2 has been added in another folder. The only one that shows in Plex is listing 1. I did move listing 2 file to listing 1’s folder and it is still not being seen by Plex.
I know in movies it shows if there are two of the same movies.
It depends on what you are expecting to see and where.
Go to the preplay page of this episode.
Then look at the Plex media info of it.
Do you see one file path or two?
Seems to be working similarly on tv show episodes.
Keep in mind there’s no visual indicator on the episode thumb.

I’m on the Desktop GUI so it is a little different but I did find the option to “View Files” and it does show both. Knowing if there are duplicates is quit nested in Plex for TV shows.
Apparently there is no easier way to show duplicates in TV?
What do you have in mind?
Set your tv show library to Episodes view mode.
Enable the Duplicates filter.
