Multiple Plex Servers = Duplicate Libraries

Hello All,

I hope this is a quick fix.  I've been playing around with the various OS/Media Client combos for RPi2 and I like Rasplex in general, but one thing that bugs me a bit is that is far less configurable than, say, OpeneELEC/Kodi.  The downside with Kodi is that I could never get PlexBMC to work quite right.  It worked, but it was really "buggy".

In any case, I fired up the RPI2 with Rasplex today and was surfing my Plex content in no time.  I also like the pre-cache feature.  HOWEVER, the menu item for "controlling" pre-caching content is really stupid.  It's not clear which servers (I have 2 in my home) I'm pre-caching.  Since I have the same libraries in both servers (1 server for me, 1 for friends and fam), I now have duplicate libraries in Rasplex.

Does anyone know how to delete an entire library?  Or completely ignore 1 server?

I have already tried to manually set the IP=192.168.1.3, Port=32400 and it still did not work.

PMS1 (for my personal use)

Network Name & PMS Name:  "Matt-XPS-12"
Windows 8.1 Pro - 64-bit
Intel i7-3537U 2.6GHz Quad-Core
8 GB of RAM

PMS2 (a dog, really...for friends and family)

Network Name & PMS Name: "Plex-Ubuntu"

Ubuntu 14.04
Pentium Dual-Core 2.6 GHz
6GB RAM

Note:  If it matters at all, GDM and DLNA are turned OFF on both servers.

Lastly, I tried to flash the drive again but libraries from both servers popped up again, even though I did NOT sign into Plex during the install process (and still haven't).

Similar to PlexBMC, is there a way to select the "Master" server?

This is a deal-breaker for me.  if I can't figure out how to only see libraries from 1 server I'll have to abort Rasplex and switch to a different RPi2 OS/Media center combo.

Thanks,

Matt

I have tried to manually set the IP for the server I'd like to use.

I guess if all else fails I can flash the drive again and attempt the hokie pre-cache window, or ignore pre-caching altogether.

Thanks,
Matt

Manually setting the IP address of the server you want displayed in Preferences usually works.

Precaching does not create duplicate libraries, auto discovery will.

Each of your servers should have a unique name which will then allow you to differentiate in precaching.

Yes, in theory that should work, but it doesn't.   I'll edit my original post to include more info.

Thanks,
