Multiple rasplex, one server

Hello.

 

 

I have multiple pi's running rasplex (4 to be exact) and only one of them will show up in the 'play to' lists at a time.

 

Each pi is flashed using the same image.

 

Each pi has its own hostname, and has its own identifier set under "network" in preferences.

 

 

Each pi has its own IP (confirmed by using shell to login to each)

 

They all work on their own. They won't work if they are all powered on together.

 

I haven't been able to find any info about this so I'm turning here to see if anyone has any idea.

 

 

I should note, that both my android devices, and all windows clients show up under "play to" using the webui, and one pi is always there (the most recent one to restart), but never all 4 pi's.

This thread reports on this problem. It's an old issue that should have been corrected, but might be worth looking into, especially if you're running an older version.

I downloaded the "latest" release on the 29th when I started configuring a plex server locally.. but thanks for the link, will take a read.
