Im a little new to Plex, is it possible to run multiple servers for remote access? Ive been using Air Video HD until now for my very large very spread out family and friends around the world, but my iMac is struggling a little, so wondered if I could run a couple of extra machines just for remote access for the family and keep the iMac for me at home.
I don’t see why not. Many people do. Just be sure your router is set per server/port.
You can have as many servers on your account as you want (within some reasonable limit I assume).
A problem you will observe is that of watched/unwatched status are not shared between servers, so you would need to keep users assigned to specific servers.
