Multiple Users Security Not Working

Hello,

I am setting up some friends to be able to see content I am posting and one concerning thing I’ve noticed is that they have the ability to switch accounts and login to any other account on the system including mine.

Right now I have 3 accounts setup. One is the master account (mine) which has full access. Another is a friend account that I have restricted to just 2 libraries. I created the friend account, sent the invite, it was confirmed, and now when that account logs in to my plex server they see the option to choose one of the 3 accounts. (I tried setting automatic login but that didnt change the experience). If they choose the friend account it works as expected. The problem is they can choose my account too, and it lets them in with full access.

How do I turn off the asking which account to use and how do I lock users into only being able to select their own account?

I also do not have the managed users option, if that is the solution.

Don’t set them up in your Plex Home. Ask them to create their own Plex account and send a normal invite.

Plex Home is meant for people you actually live with. like your spouse and kids.
The fast user switcher is for when multiple use the same devices like a living room TV. You prevent folks from switching to you by adding a PIN to your account which you can do in your account sharing settings at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users-sharing
