Security Issue! -- Users auto-logging into my master account

I’ve got Plex Pass and have created multiple users for my family. Each has their own unique PIN. The master account also has a unique PIN. Open Plex for the first time from the Android app, they are logging in under my MASTER account. They have to deliberately change users to their correct log-on, and from there on they are prompted for which user whenever they open the app.

This is a huge security issue for me and I’m worried one of them will accidentally change server settings.

EDIT: I also don’t appreciate that my kids can view content beyond the rating I have allowed on their own accounts.

Did your users sign up for their own plex accounts and you sent them an invite? or did you just log them in as your account in plex then change them over to their accounts?
From what I understand the only way is the former (their own plex accounts) to not show your master account as a user choice. What android app are you using? Tv or Mobile? the only reason I ask is that if it’s Mobile (phone or tablet) they can’t really change your server settings from the Mobile App.

Mobile app. I’ve signed them in under a single plex account with the intent they use their own “user accounts”.

Their access to server settings from the mobile account does appear limited. Still not ok though.

The app should function similarly to the website, which requires you pick a user every time.

You can choose to auto-sign in on the web too. But you can just uncheck that option in your settings to make them pick a user everytime.

That said, the better way (IMHO) would be to set them up with full Plex user accounts (free one) instead of the special Home users. Then you can add their full accounts as home friends. Then they would be logging in completely as themselves.
