Multiple version defaults to 1080p on Nvidia SHIELD TV Pro even though it can direct play 4K

Dear,
On my local network, my NVidia SHIELD TV Pro player always defaults to 1080p content when multiple versions are available (1080p/4K).
This, even though, once selected, 4K version can direct play without any buffering.
My other devices (e.g. windows player, and OLD NVidia TV 2017 directly select the 4K content).
Please let me know what logs to share to diagnose the issue, it quite annoying to always have to manually select the version to 4K and this also results in next episode in a series not being displayed in “play next” at the end of the episode.
