Multiple Versions of a Movie

Hi,

i was wondering if anyone has written a Metadata Agents which fixes the short Coming of Plex's Ability to handle multiple versions of the same movie.

Many DVD's these days have either a theatrical and extended or unrated version on dvd. As all the Docs i found say the best way would be to split those

files since Plex cant handle that.

Problem with this is that the MovieDB does not have any Records for unrated or Extended versions just the movie it self.

It would be a nice feature like it works with stacked movies to get prompted which version you want to watch, problem is only if both are 1080HD you cant tell

the difference in the popup, So there would be a need to change the agent who handles the stacking to go and read just like the extras etc an appended

tag from file name like'-Unrated" or "-Extended" that way it hopefully could be displayed in the popup.

I tried sticking the extras in a sub Folder ?extras but that will only work in certain Clients not in IOS etc.

Having 2 or 3 different Records for same movie just doesn't seem the ideal solution
