Music albums matched, but not detected as matched other things

Server Version#: 1.40.3.8530 (beta, upgraded to see if issue was present in beta)
Player Version#: 4.130.0 web app

I have these albums by Lyves and Londonland I recently added to MusicBrainz, the match eventually flowed to Plex, music can be matched, but they are stick stuck in a zombie unmatched state, not sure how else to describe it. If I filter for unmatched they appear, if I right click to match, they are detected as matched. The label and other info is not detected, the albums tags have been updated using Picard.

Secondly, I have this album that has a progress bar on it, like a video, just stuck in that state:

Initially I just ignored the quirks but my OCD is getting the better of me. I troubleshooted them by using the plex dance on them, they are just readded in that state.

Well, thank god its not just me. I’ve been waiting for someone else to create a thread on this for a few days now :slight_smile:

I’ve recently added these albums to my server, which are tagged using musicbrainz picard and they don’t match correctly. Pretty much 99.9% of the time they match but for some reason these won’t. I guess the back-end cache might need a kick :slight_smile:

Adding my experience here - I missed this thread when I created a new topic:

Despite Plex finding the correct match in the musicbrainz database, albums are not successfully matched, and still appear in the Unmatched filter.

The logs are throwing this error: Jun 05, 2024 10:02:51.624 [140518458261248] ERROR - [Time] Date looks invalid: 2024–1–1

This is occurring for multiple albums, and for each I have confirmed in musicbrainz that the date is valid, for example: Release “U.Aint.Neva.Lied!” by Vanilla is Black - MusicBrainz

It appears to be fixed! Fix Match gets my albums out of zombie land now :slight_smile:

Ditto. Back to a clean 100% matched status out of 8832 albums.
