I have uploaded a large number of audio files, (music) to my Plex server. However even though the files are all properly tagged, and the file name is artist - title When viewing list in Plex it lists them as various artists. Why? My folders are configured for decades and genres. Why is it choosing to show them as various artists vs correctly labeling them as the correct artist?

yup did all that but it’s still showing as various artists instead of the actual artist for the songs
That’s what I am saying. This is not true. If all tracks have the same artist, you don’t need the Album Artist tag.
