Is there some how to create a dynamic list of popular tracks (for music) ?

You can create a smart playlist…

  1. Open your music library
  2. Go to Tracks mode
  3. Click on Filter and select Custom Filter...
  4. Filter to your definition of “popular”, e.g.
    • Track Rating >= 4 stars
    • Track Plays > 10
    • Track Skips < 3
    • Album Critic Rating >= 4 stars
  5. Click Apply
  6. Click Save As > `Save As Smart Playlist…

There’s no criteria for a song’s general popularity (e.g. based on some online repository).

Many thanks for your feedback. However, the idea if to use the Plex popularity flag, indeed when you open an a Music Artist, you will find the list of Albums and a list of “Popular tracks”, I was wondering if we can have such filter in order to create a dynamic list of all the Popular tracks in my library ?

Before posting this article, I made several google searches, played with the dynamic list fields, but unfortunately no clue on how to perform it !
