Music just won't show up in Plex

Player Version#: 4.34.4

Can upload movies into Plex without issue. Plex server will scan the external hdd and detect the Movies folder and contents. Plex however will NOT detect any music. I’ve gone through forum suggestions on naming and nothing works. Plex won’t upload a folder or a song. Unsure of what I’m missing since my movies import just fine.

Please show an example of an album,
how does the folder structure look like,
how the file names
and what is in the embedded meta tags.

I have it setup that way as well from what I can see. Still doesn’t work.

Am I correct in assuming that you have no metadata at all in your files?

No, this looks all very well.

Refresh the web app in your browser (press F5 or go to https://app.plex.tv )
Edit your music library,
go to the tab “Add Folders”
Does the path P:\Music appear in there at all?

I’m a dumbass. For some reason that music directory had changed on me. When I went to edit the music library location it was set to C:*** I set it back to my external drive now and all is good. Thanks for the help and making me go check that.
