Music library disappeared. Music still on MyCloud

I have a WD MyCloud and all my music is on the drive but will not show up in Plex.
Help!

I have the same issue…same server, music still on the server…is there a known fix?

So far, no one has provided a solution. I have started back from scratch, and I am not happy about it.
I have had zero support! I am going to go crazy if this happens again.

Yup, really annoying problem. I would happily use a different system…but have already wasted more time that I want to on this.

My Plex player says:

This library is currently empty
Expecting more? Visit the Manage Libraries page to add folders and scan library files.

Files are still in the default folders, e.g. “Z:\Plex\Shared Music”. And I’ve done a manual scan.

EDIT: deleting a folder in Plex library settings (not deleting it on the My Cloud Home’s filesystem) and re-adding it seems to have started the scanning process. Fixed that part.

However, DLNA still broken. Disabling and re-enabling DLNA server didn’t work.

So, I disabled Plex completely in the My Cloud Home’s “Do More” area, and then re-enabled it. After setting it up again, it’s all working!

Hey, did any of you guys get a solution to this issue? I have the same thing and twice in the space of two weeks my library just disappears. Would appreciate any help if anyone has solved this please. Thanks
