PMS 5063. I’m still setting up a music server and folder = album for me. When i used to look at folder view it would show me the song/track name under “Title” and then what Plex had for the Artist, Album Title, & Duration in grayscaled font to the right of that (no headers.) Some time over the last two days i lost all of that extra info to the right, now i just get the song title. Any way to get that back?
I still have PMS 5023 on another computer and still see the extra info there. Thanks for any help!
Hi @zyliq1 I can’t seem to replicate that, I’m afraid. What platform are you running PMS on? I’m running that version on macOS, and can see the information you’re talking about.
I am running Kubuntu 18.04 with 5063 and Lubuntu 17.10 with 5023. The first screen shot is what i now have, the second is what it looks like on old comp and what i would like again :)!
click on ... in the top-right corner of the list. There you find the options to personalize the list view and to pick which columns to display.
The difference could be caused by Plex remembering those configurations per client – so if you have all those extra fields configured in the Plex Web client installed on your server (https://your-pms-ip-address:32400/web), it won’t necessarily show when you access your server via the hosted version of Plex Web (https://app.plex.tv/desktop).
When I view/sort the library by “Album” (List View) I get the … options to toggle title/artist, but not when sorted by Folder (the only four options I get are: title, plays, date added, date played— I think that’s how it has always been.)
I’m not sure what to try next, It was showing everything i wanted as recently as last Sunday and I haven’t changed anything major since then.
