Music Library Stations for Home Users

I’ve recently added my wife as a Home User, but the shared music library radio stations and additional functionality that show up for me in the music ‘recommended’ tab aren’t available to her. This functionality is great and was available to me before I added PlexPass so am not sure why its not available to her as well.

I’m looking for some support on how to get this functionality to work for her.

Thanks
Steve

Did you share your full music library with her or did you restrict her access in some way?

she has full unrestricted access

Is she also using the web app or something else?

If the web app, is she using the local web app, or the hosted web app https://app.plex.tv ?

She’s setup using Plex for Android. but same issue when accessing through the web app

If you mean Android mobile, I can see them with a managed user account just fine.
After selecting the music library under the hamburger ≡ icon,
make sure to select the ‘Recommendations’ tab at the bottom.
Then scroll down a bit.

Yes, I was referring to Android mobile.
The ‘Recommendations’ tab when signed into the app with her user account only has ‘Recently Added Music’ and ‘Artists On Tour’ unlike when logged in using my admin account where this are additional options including ‘Stations’ as I’ve shown in image.

Hope that helps clarify.

Could you try and Switch User on the web app to her account and see if she is missing those radios in general or only on the Android mobile app?

yes. they are missing in the web app as well as the android app.

Did you add any songs from Tidal to your library?

yes. tried removing the one album I added and that seemed to fix the issue.
Thanks for the help.

Yes, that is still an unfortunate side effect.
Since she is not allowed to access your Tidal content, the radios are switched off.
