Music Metadata Search Performance Issue

So, I noticed that since last night at about 2300EST, scanning my music library appeared to be functioning much slower that usual. I was adding about 50 albums to it, and the scan of the library was adding maybe 1 album every 30 minutes. Something’s not right.

Checked status.plex.tv, an noticed that there is a current issue being worked that would appear to be related to my problem–or maybe it is my problem.

Any thoughts? Could it be something else–no obvious problems anywhere else, and scanning all other library types works normally when adding new movies/series/etc. Or, do I just need to be patient and wait to this issue is resolved by Plex?

I’m running V 1.25.6.5577 on a Mac.

Same issue here. I think this is widespread.

As suspected, with the performance degradation issue corrected, my issue disappeared. I’ll bet yours did, too.
