Hello people.
I am in the process of adding 7.9GB worth of
photo library onto Plex. It is located in one of my
2TB shucked Seagate drive.
However, the library scan was so slow that it still
not yet halfway through after 2 hours. The Plex
app and web becomes really unstable and laggy
too.
But if I were to add movies like 30-40GB, it scan
and add them like immediately.
So may I ask if anyone knows what causing this
issues?
My Specs Intel i5 11-400 Internet (300Mbps
down / 60mbps up)
How many photos vs movies are you adding? thousands of photos are gonna be slower than 40-50 movies.
Might try batching the photos in smaller groups when adding them
