Man your Turrets everyone, it’s on!
No, that’s ‘Tourettes’ and if I keep takin’ the tablets my outbursts are somewhat limited…

Juice / SE56 -
Do I need to separate you two?
bh
No, no…
We’re buds, share media and yank on the other’s chain from opposite sides of the Planet and it’s a hoot…(I don’t insult his wife - her sense of humor isn’t great and no amount of water can save me otherwise…lol)
Plenty distance apart, hes not a good swimmer anymore. Aussie here
That is Good - with all this WFH, not wearing a belt any way (or much of anything else either - tmi).
Does MUSIC not support COLLECTIONS?
I just added 10 ALBUMs that are a set - but each one has 2 CDs.
They are working as DISC 1 and DISC 2 - but they are all listed as individual albums (the 10). Is there no way to have all of them show as one COLLECTION - like you can do with MOVIES?
bh
You cannot group music albums in collections, like you can with videos.
Either you rework the box set into a 20-disc album,
or you keep it as 10 distinct 2-disc albums.

Now How Idiotic is that? You can put MOVIES into ‘Collections’ - but Not MUSIC. Who’s 'UNBRIGHT" idea was that?
HEY SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT - ADD MUSIC COLLECTIONS.

I thought the same thing - when I was looking for a way to ‘Shuffle’ my entire Blues Library - then I decided to make 3 Music Libraries - one of them Blues - and ‘work-around’ invented.
Note:
There are good reasons not to have multiple Movie/Show Libraries, but so far I’ve not found a reason not to have a few music libraries. I never search them, or do anything else that might raise an issue.
If all albums were tagged with the ‘Blues’ genre, you could have created a smart playlist which uses that exact filter rule.
I could have, I suppose. Let’s find out together if that method will suit @bearhntr
Having 28 various libraries at the time meant that I knew how to make Libraries, had never made a playlist in my life, wasn’t about to start.
When I blew down the walls and moved Movies in Shows into affordable housing (one Library each) I just left the 3 Music Libraries to do with what I always had.
I’m also using Collections now in place of Genre Libraries - 'cause it takes 31 clicks to get to Westerns with the Drilling For Genres Method Plex has so thoughtfully provided on my Roku and I’m just not going to do that if I can avoid it and as it turns out I can.
I have most of them TAGGED with the same GENRE (some of them have 2 GENREs,) and I also have them TAGGED with STYLES - Some are not.
Many of them also have MOODS (which seem to have been put there by PLEX - and I do not recall ever setting these in IDv3 Tagging.
For example I have a collection which is VARIOUS ARTISTS - called AMBIENT LOUNGE (1 thru 10). Right now they are each ONE ALBUM each (each one is 2 Discs). YES, I can play them individually. They are TAGGED as GENRE = NEW-AGE, EASY LISTENING or ELECTRONIC and STYLE (some are JAZZ some are CONTEMPORARY INSTRUMENTAL some are R&B).
So as you can see - they are a hodge-podge of Genres and Styles - but are a COLLECTION of 10 Albums/20 Discs.
Using a FILTER is a PAIN IN THE A**, whereas a COLLECTION of all 10 albums would be highly desirable. Same for my over 40,000 Christmas Songs. All of them are MULTI-TAGGED in IDv3 (all have CHRISTMAS, but some are TRADITIONAL, NEW-AGE, R&B, COMEDY, COUNTRY, etc.).

In Addition – it is an OPTION

It’s a filter.
I Know That - I currently REMOVED the TAGS in the albums - as I could not get it to DO LIKE THE MOVIES.
It does NARROW down the albums by that FILTER - I simply do not understand why the COLLECTIONS Tag cannot do the same a the MOVIES do.
I know I am nit-picking, but PO-TAY-TO, PO-TAH-TO. The SAME FILTER feature works in MOVIES, but also you have a COLLECTION
bh
It works separately on Artist level or Album level, maybe even Song level. It doesn’t show in the library though it seems. Only for filters.
Album level:
solitaryreign,
Yes - but still a FILTER, not a COLLECTION, as I would think (as in the MOVIES displays).
