Music playback on Plex App Nvidia Shield is dreadful!

I have a million movies, TV series etc on PMS (Nvidia Shield) and use the Plex app to watch on other both Nvidia Shields (Android) and both Samsung TVs (TizenOS) - All video content works perfectly.

However, I recently added my music collection (.flac) to my PMS and it all works perfectly via the Samsung TV App (TizenOS) but when playing that same content via the Android app on the Nvidia Shield it is absolutely unusable!

The grid showing each album behaves in a weird way - certain album covers appear not in a straight row, odd ones are higher up than others on the same row, some appear to have blank spaces next to them, when clicking on the ‘higher up’ ones, nothing happens, when I select another album it plays, then I can go back and play the previous album that didn’t play.

If I click Play (album) it plays, but if I then decide to select and play another track in that album list, it starts playing that track whilst also continuing to play the track that was currently playing!

So I hear two tracks playing at the same time! The only way to stop it is to close the app!

I have tried all the usual, clearing app cache, restarting etc. It is unusable like this.

Has anyone else observed such strange behaviour and what can possible fix this please?

Thanks for any help/advice,

Andrew.
