So I have plex pass and tidal integrated. I made music playlists on Plex and I have some on Tidal also. I tried to play the Plex playlist on my Shield and on my FireStick and on both of them the songs would always start near the first chorus of the song (about a minute or so into the song). My playlists on Tidal was also doing this…just playing snippets of songs on the playlist and moving to the next one. There was one time where it played two songs through without doing it, but then started skipping songs with short snippets again. I tried the playlists on my iOS and on the plex web, and it seems to be working fine. No snippets, plays the whole song like its supposed to. Any ideas on what this could be?
So i figured out the problem. It is only doing it on songs that are from Tidal. It plays exactly 30 seconds, like a preview of the song and moves on the next one. Its like it thinks im a trial member or something…I’m a paying Tidal member and linked it in my account on plex.
Same here. Just encountered this problem on my SHIELD. Everything is updated. Plex app, plex server app, and Shield OS.
Very annoying problem by the way…
