Tidal songs only play for 30 seconds

Tidal songs only play for 30 seconds on Plex on iPhone. Songs queued via Artist radio (streaming from Tidal) in Plex on iPhone only play for 30 seconds. Tidal subscription is active. Have tried toggling “enable” and “disable” Plex -> Settings -> Tidal -> Online Media Settings.

Tidal is not loading at all in Plex Desktop app at https://app.plex.tv/ on MacBook Pro -> Chrome.

Desktop / Browser Plex App Error message:
" There was an unexpected error loading this library

Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems"

I got the same problem, except it works perfectly fine on the Web UI on my Android phone. I also got it working on my desktop (where media server is installed) and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, both after going through the “transfer” subscription process again. But no matter what i do, i cannot get it to work on my Pixel 2 XL… Only get 30s previews. I’ve force-closed app, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled app, gone through every setting imaginable… It’s been almost 24 hours since i originally switched my tidal subscription over, and still nothing works right. This is unacceptable.

I am having the same problem and I also have a pixel 2xl. Could it be the phone?

I have the same problem with a Huawei Mate 20 pro.
it was occurring in android 9. I just updated the other day to android 10. And the same issue persists.
I did clear cache and data from the App, but it still happens.
when I use it in Windows I have no problems whatsoever.
I do hope someone does address this issue.
I left Spotify to go to Tidal precisely for this functionality. And I use my plex as main music player in my car. I would love to have that seamless integration I was promised.

We’re busy tracking an issue with some TIDAL users that can cause this, it’s being worked on but a fix hasn’t been deployed yet.

The easiest work-around for anybody affected by this is to sign out of the app you’re using and sign back in - this should work.

I am having the same issue on my ios device. I’ve tried logging out of the app, closing it, and opening it back and logging in with no success. All Tidal music seems to stop play back around the 30 sec mark.

Same issue here. Rebooted server, phone, signed out and back in on iphone, and re-linked tidal account. All without results. Please offer a solution even in the short term.

This might have been said already but I am able to play if I log into Plex using a web browser on the phone. This issue is very specific to the iphone (or other platform apps). This is a temp solution at best, especially since the web version is not optimized for mobile phones and requires constant baby sitting to keep the session active.

Plex please provide an update on a permanent solution.
