Music Random Album Radio Play Back Error

Server Version#: 1.24.0.4921
Player Version#: 4.62.1

After updating Windows Server Version 1.24.0.4921 when playing Music Random Album it gives Play back Error:

Playback Error

An error occurred loading items to play.

I have second Plex server running with Windows Version 1.23.6.4881. It is playing perfectly.

Version 1.24.0.4930 fixed the problem.

Didn’t fix it for me, alas.

This is a major feature for me, how can I troubleshoot this?

Try shutting down your server for a few seconds, then restart it.

1.24.0.4930 , computer restarted. This even happens on a Plex instance on my Server computer.

I have the same problem after updating to 1.24.0.4930 on QNAP NAS. I restarted the server, but no success.

Also still having this issue. Server version is 1.24.1.4931, hosted on Docker. It’s funny, I’ve never bothered to use the radio feature and the first time I try it out it’s broken…

Yuppers. I just installed the Server Update, and my prob is still the same.

I love this feature, please un-futz it! Thanks! I love Plex.

I should add that it started happening a very long time ago (>1 year) with “Library Radio,” which I gave up on, but as of a couple of months ago “Random Album Radio” fails as well. Also it didn’t happen to every library at the same time, I think the biggest libraries failed first.

In case it matters: my libraries are all audio-only, and the largest has around 100k files.

Hi there. Same for me.

Version: 1.24.1.4931
Platform: Synology DS218play (i.e. ARM based)

Since I can’t do the fancy Super Sonic mumbo jumbo, I’d settle for Random Album Radio working again.
