I have looked at the logs but you have disabled debug logging !
Please re-enable it. Server General Settings / Show Advanced
Just debug. Don’t need verbose

There have been some database transaction improvements in the latest beta which came out earlier today - 1.18.8.2461

I suggest upgrading to this version and get me fresh logs with debug logging enabled beforehand (before the launch) if the problem remains

Thank you. Will have a look - (I did specifically ask for the debug logging to be enabled before launch - so that would have been: enable debug logging, upgrade to new beta, launch new beta, repro the issue)
I will look at the logs provided - I prefer always (if possible) to see the launch sequence in case of issues encountered then
I did enable debug before scanning.
I was already on the new release.
Could you tell me what you mean by “scanning deadlocks” ?
I selected scan libraries. It then took a VERY long time to finish. I’ve added no new music so it shouldn’t really take that long. Prior to new scanner it was pretty quick.
Could I have a copy of the Plex Media Server database?
Use the web interface to download the database and send me the zip privately or if too big please upload on dropbox/google drive etc and send me a link
Yeah let me fire up my laptop so I can get it.

It appears the issue is because there is residual data that needs to be upgraded following the Premium Music Library upgrade that happened a few months back
I would like you to try to manually refresh the artists that I sent you by PM following steps on this support article
Read it all first and then go to this section:
Upgrade Existing Music Artists
After this completes, get me a copy of the database again and the logs covering the times of the above manual artist refreshes
