My Plex server has a problem with my internet connection. Most functions work fine. I’ve done an upgrade to the latest version, the Film and TV scanners work perfectly but the music scanner will not run. If I try to scan any of my music folders I get a pop-up message telling me ‘An internet connection is required to scan library files. Please check this server’s connection and try again’. The only way I can use the music scanner is to switch to a tethered mobile phone. Then it’s happy.
Any thoughts on how the rest of the server’s functionality can see and use the router’s internet connection but not the music scanner?
