Does anyone know if Plex is coming out with a better solution for Music Videos. I followed the instructions to set them up with their own library. However, non of the meta data is right. I am not sure how to name the files so they have any meta data added. In addition, there isn’t as many features as there are for movies (i.e., posters etc).
You make me curious…
So far all I know about music videos is that you can integrate them as local media assets in your regular music libraries. That way they’ll show up on the artist pre-play screen.

I’m not aware of any specific music video library type…
If you use a regular movie library, you’ll have a hard time to get any metadata, as most music videos aren’t listed as “movies” in the common online databases (maybe some concert films)…
I followed the instructions at the link you provide using the “Global Music Videos Folder” option. It still doesn’t bring in any Metadata that I can see. For example the year is always the current year and it dosn’t have a genre tagging.
