This app is so beautiful WHEN IT WORKS. I cannot get my server to be found unless I use an older version, then it will not update and add new content to my libraries. It’s been down for four days now, and I am NOT a techy person. These articles do not help me at all. This is SO frustrating.

Which app? Plex Media Server? Plex Media Player for Windows? Asking cause you posted this in
Third Party Apps & Tools > server-windows so that makes your question a bit confusing.
An older version of the Server or this mystery app? Users can usually help, but we need more definite information.
Plex Media Server. There is no mystery app. I don’t follow all these forum rules, meaning I don’t understand all of them. I just know when I can get it to work, and by 'it" I mean Plex Media Server (1.18.4.2171-ac2afe5f8-x86.exe), . I keep 2 tabs open, one secure, one local (which NEVER wants to connect. And yes, my firewall and virus allows the app thru). All I keep getting is my server is unavailable on the secure tab, and nothing on the local. The “update libraries” setting rarely works either. I am so damn frustrated with this app.
