I noticed that I couldn’t update to the latest version so I read the instructions on doing the uninstall, reinstall and followed those directions to the “T”. When I rebooted my server, there is no Plex service to start and it cant find the actual server. I can log in to the newest install and launch the web app but there is nothing for it to connect to.
That is not a version number of the server.
Are you sure that you downloaded and installed “Plex Media Server” and not just “Plex”?
