My computer does not appear in media server

My computer does not appear in media server so it is impossible to add a folder from my computer to the Plex library. When I press the media button in my account, I am asked to install plex media server. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled several times by modifying the sharing parameters of my folders and networks but always with the same result… I managed to get serviio and Windows media player to work but plex still does not see my computer…

I’m desperate at the moment, I found no solution to my problem, please help me.

You will have to stop and restart Plex server, after you have added a new file share to a drive letter.

Alternatively, you can use the UNC path to address the file share directly.
