It’s the little differences that make Plex so great.
I’ll be upgrading to plex pass soon to treat myself after Xmas. It isn’t just plexamp that helped me solidify my loyalty to Plex. The whole “plex” thing is just “right”.
I have my whole music collection stored and managed by itunes (i know, i’m trying to break free), and my videos stored on my NAS (Plex server yay).
I tend to add and manage my music via itunes and listen back via plex in the web browser.
I’m want to one day use plex as a replacement to itunes entirely, i that’s going to be very soon!
Having a local app like plexamp will now change the way i use plex. please don’t underestimate how important something like plexamp is to the community and please continue to develop it so that one day it will be fully supported and function rich.
I also heavily rely on the browser player as i have a chromebook that works great!
Keep up the great work people! i’m hoping to have multiroom audio via google home in the future (with plex of course).
