This was going to be a bug report, but I realized the problem was the user and not the app so I will leave this instead

Plexamp is with out hesitation, the best audio consumption tool I have ever used. It has released me from the chains of iTunes and the hack way I was using it to get the user experience I desired. I am not a “main stream” user, I have music preferences which have been described as “absurd” so third party streaming services don’t cut it for me. The ability to have my music library on any device (PC, Mobile, Tablet, etc.) has always been key, however not needing to sync files and setup music players all while having a unified interface is truly luxury.
It really works for me and the way I prefer to listen to audio.
I agree. Plexamp is such an amazing app, and one of the reasons that made me buy a lifetime Plex pass. I can’t think of a better solution than this app (and Plex in general) to manage and consume my music collection.
If I may… especially sweet fades. This feature continues to make me so darn happy. As someone who does the occasional DJing, knowing when to start the next song is something that EVERY OTHER service gets wrong every time. That fact that PlexAmp not only consistently nails it but does a great job of choosing what song comes next feels like magic.
Ditto, Ditto, Ditto! Always the first app installed on whatever device. Elan, thanks for implementing my suggestion about custom EQs, it works fantastically with all of my output devices. I can now super tweak each device and be assured they will sound great instead of roughing it each time I change between devices. Thanks again.
I also want to thank the Plexamp team for this extremely awesome music player! I am so impressed with the simple and elegant design and the continued commitment with regular software updates and enhancements. I use it exclusively for my private music collection which consists of over 800 albums worth of CD quality FLAC files. Being able to use remote access in my car allows me to have my very own private music streaming service where ever I am. Please plan to continue to keep the main interface simple and elegant and provide optional use settings for some new functions as appropriate. (e.g let me toggle via a setting whether I want to use some new major change).
My only two wishes for enhancements are as follows:
Grid view for albums by artist
Provide some type of “Mix Builder" at the album level
I would like to add 5 or 6 disparate albums from my collection and select ‘Play Mix’ to play those albums on Shuffle.
Keep up the great work, your software interface is a work of art!
