When I am not in the same network that my Plex Server, my Android devices are unable to show any of my playlists (but they do so when I am using the same network that my Plex Server).
They show this claim:
Add Content to this Library
This library is currently empty. You can use the Plex web app (http://app-plex.tv) to add some media. If you need additional help, please visit https://support.plex.tv for more information.
If I login in the webapp, the playlists are there. And If I look for a single item that is in the playlists, in the Android App, I can see them. Only the playlists are just not being shown in the Android App.
I would like an official answer as I searched for this issue, I saw many posts for months now and I can’t see a single real answer to this problem.
