My Plex can't suddenly not find all series

I have got an issue with my Plex. Some of my series is located in a show called “files” and is blank for information. Almost all new shows goes into this catagory called “Files” and some old shows have lost it’s metadata and went there too.
Refresh metadata doesnt help.

I have looked into my settings where it gets Meta data from and tried all diffenrent combinations, and nothing helps.

I’ved to uninstall plex, repaired plex, delete the current folder, emtpy trash and the clean the information in the library and still doesn’t help.

All shows have worked before.

The issue have been here for a approx. a mounth.

Can anyone help ?

A TV Show Library/
…A TV Show/
…Season 01/
…A TV Show - S01E01.xxx

No extra folders called ‘Files’… or any other nonsense.

‘A TV Show’ can be found here: https://www.thetvdb.com/
Use the same name for ‘A TV Show’ they use.

‘Worked Before’ doesn’t mean ‘Works Now’.
‘Works Now’ means you follow the instructions for file naming and structuring - or you find out nothing downloads from TVDB - or is completely invisible.

FileBot (link in my signature) can handle that file naming and structuring for you automatically or manually in seconds.

What FileBot can’t do is remove possible embedded metadata in the Title Field of MP4/M4V files. Plex will read this info and prefer it over a perfect file name/structure (you probably don’t have any of those yet), but you can combat that situation by moving Local Media Assets to the bottom of every agent list you can find. All tabs in TV Show and Movies here:
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200241558-Agents
Just drag LMA to the bottom of the list and drop it. If you do have embedded metadata this will cure the issue, if you don’t it won’t matter. LMA will do what it has to from the bottom.

Renaming/restructuring is best performed OUTSIDE the library and you’ll need to write a new bundle for the show so The Plex Dance® was invented:

The Plex Dance®:

  1. remove show/movie from library
  2. update library
  3. empty trash
  4. clean bundles
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200392106-Library-Actions <— update library, empty trash, clean bundles
  5. bring names and structures into compliance/move Local Media Assets/etc
  6. replace corrected show/movie into library
  7. update library

All Steps. In Order. No Shortcuts.

In the unlikely event you do all the above, bring your files and structures into compliance, do the dance - properly - and it still isn’t working…

Log Files:

Drag zip file to message window and drop it.

You can also use those images inline if you just make 'em jpgs.
Not sure if there’s a ‘new user waiting period’ for images, but it would be pretty stupid to restrict the attachment of log files for new users on a Support Forum (disclaimer: I wouldn’t be a bit surprised).
