My Plex server is "currently unavailable."

Rolling back version on Synology is easy.

  1. Uninstall the package from Package Center
  2. Restarting DSM is a good idea but not required
  3. Install the lower version.

These steps are due to Synology restriction.

Can confirm I’m also seeing this issue on my new 918+.

Is the current solution to rollback to 1.18.3? Ad do we have any ideas et what may be the issue with later versions?

After 4 days, I can confirm that my 918+ with 1.18.6 is stable after I have deleted the Plex share and plex user account, recreated the libraries and re-populated the art work. It looks like it had to do something with the cached data in the Plex share.

So far so good here by dropping back to Version 1.18.3.2156 on my DS218+.
3+ days now with no disconnects.

Currently running version 1.18.6.2368 and so far it seems to have cured the issue. Installed it Friday and haven’t had to restart the server since. Early days but looking good.

Has anyone installed 1.18.7.2457 yet that had this original problem? I am still a bit leary of moving from 1.18.3 at the moment.
