The other day, my area had a power outage which turned off my Synology. The next day when I turned it back on, I noticed I couldn’t see my Plex Server. I got into my Synology and saw it wasn’t listed in my apps. When I clicked run in the package center, a box would appear that said loading, but then it would go away and nothing happened. I was unable to uninstall plex. I tried a manual install of the newest version of Plex and that didn’t do anything. Conveniently the next day I received my new Synology in the mail (previous one was a bit old so I ordered a new one). I set it up, copied my files over, manually installed Plex, and… same thing. Doesn’t show up in my apps, loading box shows up for a few seconds when I hit run and then disappears, and the server never actually runs. I hit run a couple times and it ended up opening the plex app in a new tab in my browser but it failed to connect. None of the settings were changed in my laptop or wifi router, and this is now 2 Synology devices doing this. I don’t know what to do next.

I finally managed to get it to work. I did a full uninstall and reinstall. Not sure why that fixed it since it was already a new install on the new server, but it did.
