Plex goes from Running to Installed on Synology from Time to Time

Server Version#: 1.33.0.2444-a220eae4
Player Version#:

From time to time, I will find that when I open one of my Plex players, it doesn’t matter which, it cannot reach the server. When I go to the packager center on the Synology Server, I see that Plex is in “Installed” state, so not running. When I click “Run” it goes back to the “Running” state, and everything works fine.

Does anyone know why it is doing this? (My theory is that it doesn’t start running after it does an automatic update. I thought that I had turned that off so that I do the updates manually, but I guess not.)

Does anyone know how to tell Plex or Synology to automatically put Plex back in the “Running” state when it stops?

If this happens when I am on travel (frequent), I cannot restart until I get home and back on my network. Is there a way to restart the app when not on my home network?

Thanks. I am trying to enable QuickConnect, but it won’t let me type an ID. Any suggestions?

If you get information on why it might stop running, that might be helpful.

I am not sure what to look for in the logs to answer the question about bad encodings, but I have attached the logs.

Yes, I have a synology account, and the device shows up there.
