I have been using Plex for a few years now and since the latest update when I add new movies it doesn’t load any movie posters or metadata. This has never happened before. I have not moved my files or relocated them. I am not computer savvy or a programmer so I feel completely overwhelmed and lost reading the articles and forums here. I appreciate any help.
I’m having the same issue but it’s both movies and TV shows. Even when I try to manually search for it, it finds no matches when it worked fine in the past. At least we’re not alone lol.

Thinking maybe I should stop messing around with the settings in anticipation of it resolving itself… Although it’s weird that I even tried rolling it back to an older version and still nothing new is finding any matches.
It is frustrating and disappointing that this issue has not been resolved and no one from Plex has offered any support. If we are paying for a software then there should be some technical support provided other than having to read through hundreds of user-generated forums. I will discontinue using plex if the metadata and movie posters don’t upload. I have been a loyal user for years so this is frustrating.
My movie posters and metadata are now loading again. Thank you for fixing whatever was missing, Plex. If this thread is what brought it to your attention then I am happy to know that it worked.
