I had plex running on an older Amahi server running Fedora 19. I ran into a major issue with another application on the server and then was unable to ssh into the system to fix it. So I decided it was time to reload the system and get away from using Amahi for other reasons. I have reloaded the system with Ubuntu and have re-install plexserver. I have recreated my libaries and my TV Shows are picking up the poster pictures just fine. However, the movies are not picking up the posters. I have double checked to make sure that the agent is set for The Movie Database scanner is Plex Movie Scanner.
Any help would be nice guys. I have tried restarting the server service. It doesn’t work. the TV shows pull poster pictures just fine its just the movies that are not working.
So I have confirmed that new movies that I add after I re-setup plex are pulling movie poster meta-data. It is just the movies that I already had in the folder that I added back in when I created the library that are not pulling posters
did doesn’t seem to pull meta data at all for movies I already had. No discriptions nothing. Only for anything I have add after plexserver was re-installed. would like some help on how to fix this here are the settings for my channel.
I have this issue as well, but on Plex Cloud.
