Hi. I had to rebuild my NAS and I reinstalled the server. It is running and I can log into Plex from the browser. But I cannot use plex on any app … neither iPhone, iPad, TV or NVIDIA shield works. The server is shown but when connecting, I get the “cannot connect to server” message.
What I did:
updated server, verified it is running
checked permissions
enabled remote control (although I think it is not needed)
Thanks - I rebooted the router and the NAS and everything else. I tried with the NVidia Shield on both the 5g and normal wifi network, and still the same issue.
Thank you, done. While checking for the firewall I realized that there are issues with the LAN port which seems to be disabled now. I think this is the problem.
Should I refill the DHCP data, with the primary address as shown in my network? But I am unsure about the secondary. Thanks for your advise.
Yes, that is correct, no data there. I can sign into my plex account and the NAS is connected. I can access the NAS via the browser, and launch Plex in the browser and it works. I cannot access Plex via any app.
