My very personal feedback, and it's a nice one, Plex ;)

Hello Plex and community,

Thank you for the 2.x app update on Xbox! It took you some time to release it, you could have said more on the forum in the meantime by the way, but the result is good, not great, but good and it’s a good start.

I like the new UI, period.
Very efficient, clear, easy to browse most of the time. The search is here finally! The TV show detail is a smart idea.
The new settings panel is effective and I’m in love with the app using my Plex account instead of my Xbox account which allows autologin! Yeah! No more PIN code to type in!
The refresh button! OMG, simple but so good!

But, and it’s my request for change list:
I’m not fan at all the top left menu you created: too complex and hard to browse when you and your friends share lot of libraries (3 friends, 5 servers, 25 libraries). I prefer from far the previous “server” menu to switch from a server to another.
That server list is hidden in the user menu which provide no real added value except to refresh the connection. Please just replace it, I don’t need the app to “help” get the library categories.
Add the search in the dashboard, not only into libraries, please.
Move the alphabet list on the left side of the library content, that way it’s easier and faster to reach
The app seems not correctly centered on my TV on the top left corner. The dashboard square icon is eaten by a fifth I would say.

I exclusively use the Xbox remote control, and use the game controller only on games, so the experience is really great and designed for, nice!
I didn’t test the music, pictures or personal video features and direct play works just fine, not so much transcoding issues like I can read on the forum. So far so good like they say.

As a conclusion, Plex, you did a good job with this new major release. There is still some work to do but the core features are here. Good job but please keep the good work and consider my RFS list, please

Yeah would like the search feature on the Dashboard too.

Had to look where it is because I previously used it (when trying out the app for the first time) and on the dashboard there was no sign of it

@fbuono regarding the app not being centered. Your TV probably is set to allow overscan. On most TV’s you can turn this off. Furthermore your Xbox has a setting to tell apps that there is overscan. You can also activate this, but this is kind of a gamble if the app supports this setting.

I’ve tried to play with this option, both from the app and from my TV but no success at all, still the same issue. Not a blocking issue but disapointing
