My XBOX1 connects to my Plex Server just fine. However, the plex server handles basically all media, which includes some R and NC-17 content. My kids use the XBOX. I setup another user on my Plex Server which has access to everything EXCEPT folders which contain R/NC-17 rated material.
However, when I entered the pin, the XBOX1 never gives me an option to choose which user it is that connects to Plex. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

It´s basically a step for step guide to get it working.
I suspect you just created a managed user and not a new plex account for them. But just follow the guide word for word 
This didn’t work for me… on the XBOX1 it just says “you must have PlexPass” my main user (the server) DOES have plexpass, the newly created user to just access the shares that I want them to of course does not… so this didn’t work for me at all ;(
Nevermind. Redid it again and that did work. I’m not sure what changed or was different the second time.
I’m guessing you added the user to Plex Home. That is what is needed to allow a non-PlexPass user to access the preview apps.
