Mysterious Hama Bundle Issue

Hello, I’m trying to organize my Anime collection on Plex and I’ve been trying to configure HAMA.Bundle with Absolute Series Scanner. I’ve made several attempts as my goal was to have the Anime titles in Romaji (from AniDB), with the seasons already divided using information taken from TheTVDB. I also need to take the summary and episode titles in Italian if available. Unfortunately, even though I set the library language to Italian at the time of creation, and configured the language of the summary and episode titles in Italian, it always shows up in English. I noticed that by forcing “Fix Match” and entering [tvdb-xxxx] with the code of the relevant Anime in manual search, it often inserts both Italian language in “Summary” and episode titles. Unfortunately, other times, even after “Fix Match”, it shows “Summary” in Italian and episode titles in English despite having Italian titles on TheTVDB. I also tried adding [tvdb-xxxx] suffix to the anime series folder name and re-analyzing the library and/or updating all metadata. Unfortunately, nothing changes, and any changes only occur after doing “Fix Match” manually.

I have already tried uninstalling Hama and reinstalling everything as I had already read in some posts here and on Reddit but unfortunately, the result is still the same. I also recreated the library several times to see if deleting metadata would change anything, unfortunately without result.

Finally, it seems to me that it is not possible to receive information for “Original Title”, I tried several attempts without any result.

I would be grateful for any kind of help regarding this issue. I reiterate that the metadata information is correct but is not being written as I would like.

For your information, here is my HamaTV configuration.

I apologize in advance for my English

@ZeroQI

Read the series specific agent logs in agent data folders. It fill confirm the output for each field and why

Great, I found the folder you mentioned. I created a new test library leaving the Hama configuration unchanged. As you can see from the logs (those marked with [auto] were created automatically when the library was created, those with [man] are those after I forced the FIX Match with TheTVDB code)

K.agent-search-[auto].log (8.2 KB)
K.agent-search-[man].log (1.6 KB)
K.agent-update-[auto].log (210.9 KB)
K.agent-update-[man].log (210.1 KB)

As you can see from the automatic logs, the Summary and episode titles are in English, while immediately after doing the Fix, both the Summary and titles are correctly in Italian.

Thank you in advance

So, while checking the logs I posted yesterday, I realized that in the automatic one (which starts when the library is created), there is this statement:

=== Update() ================================================================================================================================================
id: tvdb-261249, title: K, lang: en, force: True, movie: False
start: 2023-08-27 21:36:01,736000
=== AnimeLists.GetMetadata() ================================================================================================================================

In the manual one, that is once I did “Fix Match”, it does the correct search for me:

=== Update() ================================================================================================================================================
id: tvdb-261249, title: K, lang: it, force: True, movie: False
start: 2023-08-27 21:41:15,300000
=== AnimeLists.GetMetadata() ================================================================================================================================

The Plex Server is set to Italian by default, I make sure to create the libraries in Italian, unfortunately it seems that HamaTV searches for information in English. Is there a way to set HamaTV to Italian by default?

Also, checking both log files, the “Original Title” entry is downloaded from both Anidb and TheTvDB but it doesn’t insert it into the series metadata.

Thank you always and sorry for the inconvenience.
