When trying to scroll through Libraries, plex only scrolls a few lines then freezes for a second, there is no alpha scroll bar on side forcing people to scroll insanely slow to get to bottom of the list. Also with the larger art, it makes posters easier to see, but further hinders ability to get to movies at the end of the list.
Yepp. Not just the iOS, the android version too. It’s really annoying. And the whole app seems laggy.
Ya it feels like self hosting is no longer Plex’s plan, they are putting priority on accessing live tv and rentals over our own media backups. with the way the new navigation is set up. hopefully this is all just poor experience from being so new in beta
Hey awesome people! Thanks for trying out the preview. We are aware there are some performance issues for some folks and we will be working to improve performance throughout the preview period. As for the Alpha scroll bar, it is on our list and we are aware of it. It just didn’t make it into the first preview release. I myself am a big user of the alpha scroll bar in our existing apps so I am excited to see it come to the preview app at some point.
