Need help logging in

So I just bought a used Samsung Un46d6000sf and installed Plex. Not sure if it was just the player or Plex server. When i try to login i dont have the option to input my email or password, nor does it ask forba 4 digit code from the plex website. The version that was downloaded was 1.01900. The TV is like 12 years old and i have it connected via LAN cable.

Is my problem that this version is so old it wont let me login?

Tomorrow Amazon is delivering a Firestick HD. Will that allow me to access Plex?

What do you guys think is going on? What do you suggest? What other info do you need from me?

We only started making an app for Samsung in 2016. That device seems to be from about 2012.

That is probably the third party app that the person who made it stopped updating a few years ago as far as i know. It probably cannot connect to auth servers anymore.

Yes we make an app for that.
