I am a bit confused. I read that updating your server associated email account takes 30 days other wise I get the message “email exists”. I created a temporary address on proton.me until the error clears. But, after adding my temporary email to the server it still does not sync to my TV. I log in the TV using the link code from my phone which is also using the temporary address to link to my Plex server. The Plex on my TV does not see my server and does not connect. What am I doing wrong? Is it exactly 30 days? This very frustrating.
The email address has nothing to do with connecting a client to your server.
As long as you can successfully authenticate and log in to plex.tv, all is well.
