I’m a total noob, so I’m not even sure I’ll frame my question right, but here it is.
I am only using Plex as a way of playing movies from my computer on the Plex app on LG TV.
I got tired of moving files from my main PC to my laptop (where I’ve set my libraries/server on), so I decided to add libraries from my PC to the server. I’m not sure what happened, but while I can now see my PC folders on my server, when I’m trying to access my laptop’s library, I get a “Not authorized. You do not have access to this server. You may be able to claim it by choosing “Open Plex…” from the Plex menu in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray. For more troubleshooting tips, see our [support article].” When I click on Open Plex it just opens a new browser tab.
All the potential solutions I see seem very complex and/or not given in a step-by-step manner, so I haven’t managed to get it to work yet. I was at the verge of deleting my account, but thought I’d give the forums a go. Any help appreciated!
